Precious and battery metals projects across Africa

AME Metals is focused on creating a portfolio of precious and battery metals project’s across Africa.

The AME Metals team have been working in and around Eastern Africa for the last decade and more particularly in the north-eastern region along the highly prospective Arabian Nubian Shield.

Through AME Metal’s strong network in Africa, the team is actively generating new opportunities in East Africa that would feed into the Company’s project pipeline.  These opportunities will allow AME Metals to continue to grow its diversified portfolio of mining assets in Africa.

The Arabian-Nubian Shield is a large region of Precambrian basement rocks covering Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia.

There is an emerging resources sector with increasing gold and base metal endowment in the Arabian-Nubian Shield.

Some of the substantial gold discoveries include:

  • Tulu Kapi (1.5 million ounces);
  • Lega Dembi and Sakaro (3 million ounces); and
  • Dish Mountain (1.5 million ounces).
